Family History Research

We specialise in tracing your British and Australian ancestors, but we may be able to find your ancestors in other countries if the right documents can be traced. Talk to us to find out what's possible.

Most of our research is carried out online, but we do regularly visit local repositories such as the State Records Office, Battye Library, National Archives, FamilyHistoryWA (or WA Genealogy Society), and various local history collections. We also have a network of associates in other states and countries who can help with access to records.

Free consultation to begin...

Before we begin we will need to talk to you about what you already know and what you want to find out.

We offer a free one-hour consultation at our Palmyra premises to discuss your research requirements. At that point we’ll tell you what we think we can do for you, and also agree a budget estimate for the work.

We charge for the time we spend on the task (not the results we get) at $100 an hour, minimum five hours, plus out-of-pocket expenses.
